Nasturtiums are blooming. They are great around roses and other plants prone to aphid infestation. Good for salads too! In So Cal they reseed themselves and there are so many I usually have to pull them up because they can block the sun for other plants.

Why don't you bring me some?
I could send you some! I experimented one year with freezing the blooms to use in winter salads. They are not so pretty by the tangy taste is still there. I'll also post a picture of the nasturtiums growing up the side of the house. It looks real Provence, we think... our version of virtual travel...
